Pedagogical goals

Crisscross Words is designed to help students expand their vocabulary.

Teachers in all disciplines can use it to create fun, instructional activities that enhance students’ general and specialized vocabulary.

The tool lets teachers create word grids based on their own, custom-created dictionaries. Teachers can set a time limit for solving a grid and make hints available. Students can attempt the grids as many times as they want or save their progress to continue at another time.
